Aleksandar Pavlovic

After being rested against Werder Bremen on the previous weekend, Aleksandar Pavlovic returned to the starting lineup with a bang of sorts when he opened the scoring in the 16th minute.

The 21-year-old midfielder was arguably Bayern’s most consistent player amongst the midfielders and defenders. During his 77-minute stay on the pitch, apart from scoring, Pavlovic found a teammate with 95% of his passes (55/58) and managed 21 carries and only lost possession on four occasions.

Pavlovic did a fine job early on in terms of dictating the tempo of the game.  In hindsight, Die Roten struggled to keep possession after his departure.
