On Saturday afternoon, Bayern Munich hosted Eintracht at the Allianz Arena. The reigning Bundesliga Champions played well during the opening 45-minute period and were good value for their 2-0 halftime lead.

Aleksandar Pavlovic struck first, just past the quarter-hour mark, with a powerful left-footed volley from the edge of the box, to open the scoring. Four minutes later, Harry Kane nodded in a flick on from Josip Stanisic following a corner from Michael Olise.

In the second half, the game appeared to be over as a contest when Kane completed his brace and made it 3-0, with a superbly placed left-footed shot from just outside the area. However, the visitors struck twice in the final 15 minutes as Bayern surprisingly waned in the final stages of the match. Let’s take a look at three Bayern players who stood out in the victory despite the struggles towards the end of the game

Harry Kane

Another brace from Harry Kane, another victory for Bayern. It wasn’t that easy, but his two strikes were what ultimately earned Bayern the three points. The fact that it was Kane who committed the foul, while attempting a clearance, which resulted in the penalty to Frankfurt, doesn't diminish how impactful the England Captain was at the other end of the pitch.

In Saturday's game, the veteran 32-year-old striker fired off an impressive eight shots; six of which were on target, including his brace. Kane also contributed out of possession by winning both of his tackles, along with eight of his twelve duels.
