1) RB Leipzig (Bundesliga) - home

In isolation this was the best performance of the season, so when you consider the opposition - there was no debate here. This was just an incredible performance all round from Kompany's side.

Within the first 30 seconds of the game, Musiala had given Bayern the lead. Barely a minute or so later, Benjamim Sesko equalised for the visitors. However, from there on in – it was absolute domination, in a total mismatch between the sides.

After around 25 minutes, Konrad Laimer scored against his former club, after great link up with Olise. Ten minutes or so later, Kimmich also scored against his old employers, with a thunderous strike from outside the box. This was enough for a 3-1 lead at the break.

In the second half, as the game opened up, Bayern created chances at will. After several squandered opportunities, where the likes of Kane, Sané and Musiala had presentable chances, Bayern finally got their fourth goal of the game after 75 minutes – putting the game beyond any doubt.

Having made another brilliant carry forwards, Alphonso Davies slipped Sané in on goal, who this time made no mistake when one on one. Three minutes later, the Canadian international got a deserved goal for himself, heading home an inviting cross from Kimmich.

The stats read as; 71% possession, 3.29 xG to 0.34, 10 big chances to two, and 22 shots to four - all in Bayern's favour. A serious statement win and performance from Kompany's side.
