This 1-0 win was no doubt Bayern’s most hard fought victory of the season. So far this campaign, only Bayern have conceded fewer goals than the newly promoted side. It was going to take something special to return home with all three points – and it is safe to say it was very special from Musiala.
Having picked up the ball around 35 yards from goal, the 21-year old carried the ball forward briefly before unleashing an unstoppable strike that bounced in off the underside of the bar. Had Bayern drawn that game, Leverkusen would be two points behind them. Once again - a very impressive goal, and a very important goal.
