Anthony Gordon has completed his transfer to Barcelona, leaving Bayern Munich empty-handed in the pursuit of a top left-winger. Losing out on top transfer targets in Anthony Gordon left a dent in Bayern Munich's ambition to build a competitive squad for European glory next season.

Barcelona quickly swooped in and completed the money move for the England international, who has been on Bayern's radar for the past few months. However, it is not the end of the world for Bayern Munich. They will be back on the market for that depth on the left.

Unlike last year, Bayern will not need a world-class, starting-calibre superstar winger like Luis Diaz, but rather someone who can compete with the Colombian for the starting spot and can provide some extra support at striker.

This player should excel at run-in-behinds, positioning and can be a goal-scoring threat off the flank, especially when playing with Harry Kane and Michael Olise. He should also be able to create on his own in games when Vincent Kompany wants to rotate a fair amount. Keep these things in mind, here are three top targets for Bayern Munich for that left-wing position.
