Bayern Munich's three standout performers from win over Benfica
By Tom Vinall
3) Harry Kane
To finish off, Harry Kane had a really good game up front. The marksman may not have scored in this game, but he did register the all-important assist for Musiala, with a clever, unselfish header across the six-yard box. Still, even without the assist, the striker still had a top game in general.
Throughout the game, Kane was growing frustrated at the lack of service from his teammates, and twice went on solo runs as a result, impressively taking players out of the game before having one shot saved and one hit the side netting.
He was also dropping deep, as he so often does, as a result. The England captain created five chances, including the assist, had seven shots, recorded 47 touches, 4/4 long balls, a big chance created, and even had two interceptions, in an all-round display.
Honourable mentions go to - Dayot Upamecano, Joshua Kimmich, and Leroy Sané for his bright cameo off the bench, with the goal coming from his cross. Not the best game, but some big performances, and a huge win.
