2) Alphonso Davies
To Kim's left, Alphonso Davies had another really good performance at left-back. The recently turned 24-year old has been extremely good in the most part this season. His pace has been so important for rest defense, with the way Kompany uses a very high line.
In the win over Benfica, Davies won 5/7 ground duels, had 129 touches, completed 100/110 passes, created three chances, and drew two fouls. Despite having just turned 24, his early breakthrough into the first team means the defender has the experience of an older player, and you are really starting to be able to see that in his performances.
Long may it continue, and let's hope the contract situation is resolved soon.
