DM, João Palhinha- After enduring a slow start to the campaign, João Palhinha has found a rhythm for Bayern. The Portuguese midfielder has provided the steel and calmness in the midfield. His presence also helps Die Roten to concede fewer chances as he halts moves of the opposition with accurate tackles or interceptions. Palhinha is a sure starter for Bayern against Benfica.

CM, Joshua Kimmich- Bayern have been impressive in the midfield this season, largely due to the excellent form of Kimmich. The 21-year-old will look to continue his fine run of form against Benfica.
