Bayern Munich had to deal with several injuries this season. Moreover, a chaotic summer transfer window ensured Vincent Kompany didn't have ideal conditions for his second season. The Belgian has done an exceptional job as Bayern yet to draw or lose this season.

The club hierarchy wants to be well prepared in the upcoming summer transfer window. It does look like they have identified couple of young stars to add more depth to the squad.

The next Harry Kane?

Bayern Munich is reportedly targeting Hoffenheim's leading man, Fisnik Asllani, as a potential backup up front for Harry Kane, according to Florian Plettenberg.

The 23-year-old striker is having his breakout season, scoring five goals and one assist in the Bundesliga and another pair of goal contributions in the DFB-Pokal.

Fisnik Asllani has seamlessly taken over the starman role from an ageing Andrej Kramaric. This is his first season as a starter for Hoffenheim, spending his last few years on loan. In the previous campaign in SV Elversberg, he tallied 19 goals and 10 assists in the 2. Bundesliga, and almost helped the club achieve promotion.

The Kosovo international has a similar playstyle to Harry Kane, a deep-lying forward archetype who likes to drop into the midfield and wider areas to create for his teammates with his passes and vision. He is good at playing with his back to the goal and is also a very skilful dribbler.

Asllani also has a knack for scoring goals. He can score from everywhere and however in the opponent's final third. His signature half-turn finish is one of his deadliest weapons. He is also capable of scoring with both feet and his head, a well-rounded striker like Harry Kane.

One of the easiest takeaways from watching Fisnik Asllani play is his poise and calm in the penalty area. He rarely rushes the shot, but rather waits for the easiest opportunity to score, thanks to his dribbling and fake shots.

He also has an excellent physique, standing at over 6ft2 with great balance and control. Asllani could be the perfect option for Bayern, as he can also play as a number 10 or on the left.

Max Eberl and the board are impressed by his potential and development. They are aware of his release clause and decision to leave next summer. Bayern will face tough competition for Fisnik Asllani's signature: Barcelona also wants the Kosovar.

New young right-back in town

Bayern Munich is monitoring Feyenoord's Givairo Read as a top transfer target. The 19-year-old right-back is considered a big talent in the management's eyes.

There have been talks between Die Roten and Read's camp. The Dutch and Surinamese player is still under contract with Feyenoord until 2029.

Givairo Read is a decent passer and tackler. He plays very similar football to Konrad Laimer at right-back, someone who is a hustle player who is great in build-up and contributing to advancing the football. Like Laimer, Read can also be outrageous with his crosses and sometimes struggles with disciplinary issues on the pitch.

This season, he has accounted for three goal contributions in all competitions, playing a major role in Feyenoord's league-leading position in the Eredivisie.

Some Premier League clubs are also eyeing the wonderkid. But Bayern Munich is determined to move fast. Raphael Guerreiro's imminent departure, as well as the injury crisis at fullback, can spark this move to reality.
