Bayern Munich are being linked with several attacking players ever since missing out on Florian Wirtz. The German international has rejected a move to Bayern as his preference is to join Liverpool. The Merseyside club is in talks with Bayer Leverkusen regarding a transfer fee.

Meanwhile, Bayern are looking at wingers to improve the attack for next season. They have been heavily linked with several Premier League wingers in the past few days. However, one of their winter window targets- Christopher Nkunku has not featured in these reports. He will be available for a transfer in the summer.

According to RMC earlier this month, Nkunku is expected to leave Chelsea this summer. The French forward has not been a regular member of the starting XI under Enzo Maresca in the Premier League. Chelsea are also expected to cash in this summer as they look to strengthen the attack with new players.

Talksport’s Ben Jacobs has also confirmed that Chelsea are looking to listen to offers for Nkunku. The London-based club is looking to get a fee close to €60 million for the French forward.

Bayern were heavily linked with a move for Nkunku in January. The 27-year-old forward was keen on moving to Munich, but Chelsea’s asking price meant that move never materialized. Nkunku will be very much open to joining Bayern this summer. As things stand, Die Roten have moved on to other targets.

Bayern focusing on other Premier League wingers

The Bundesliga champions have been heavily linked with Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma. The Japanese winger has reportedly held talks with Bayern officials. Apart from Mitoma, Bayern also have Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo on their list of targets.

Gakpo and Mitoma will cost more than €50 million, which suggests Bayern are ready to spend significant money on a new winger.

Apart from Premier League, Bayern have also been linked with AC Milan forward Rafael Leao. The Portuguese winger is expected to leave Milan in the summer. The Serie A club will ask for a big fee since Leao has three years left on his current deal.

A move for Nkunku will only materialize if Chelsea significantly bring down their demands or the winger is available on loan. It does look like Bayern may need several additions in the attack since Kingsley Coman is looking to leave the club. Moreover, Leroy Sane also faces an uncertain future as his contract runs down next month.
