Jonas Urbig could be the successor to Manuel Neuer

Just a few months ago, 21-year-old Jonas Urbig was warming the bench at Koln in Germany's second division of football. On Tuesday, he kept a second consecutive clean sheet for Bayern in the Champions League against their arch-rivals. Notwithstanding the baptism of fire he experienced in the 2-3 loss against Bochum on the weekend, his performances against Leverkusen were the stuff that dreams are made of.

However, there is no dreaming when it comes to his potential. When one considers the cool demeanor that he has displayed with the ball at his feet, along with his athleticism, imposing physique, and shot-stopping ability, so far, he looks like the real deal. Urbig has all the qualities to succeed Neuer in the goal at Bayern.
