Bayern possess arguably the most potent attacking unit in Europe
Harry Kane
Harry Kane, so far, has had another season that warrants him being in the conversation for the best number nine in the world. The English striker once again tops the Bundesliga scoring charts with 19 goals from 15 games. At this scoring rate, he is on track to eclipse Robert Lewandowski’s single-season record of 41 goals in the Bundesliga. However, whether or not the 32-year-old striker breaks that record is secondary to his outstanding all-round play.
So far this season, Kane has been outstanding as the number nine and also in the number ten role. He remains the focal point of the Bayern attack and has been invaluable in clutch moments. He has also scored five times in Bayern’s six Champions League matches.
Michael Olise
More often than not this season, Michael Olise has been a creative wizard for Bayern. He currently leads the Bundesliga assists chart with eight and is second in the Champions League assists standings with three.
The 24-year-old attacker has also scored ten goals for Die Roten across all competitions. However, looking beyond his 20-plus goal contributions, Michael Olise has been simply magical during the Hinrunde. No sane football fan or pundit would deny that he is currently one of the best wingers on the planet.
