Luiz Diaz delivers in more ways than one

Having scored the winner against Stuttgart in the Franz Beckenbauer Cup, Luis Diaz was even more impressive against Leipzig on Friday. The 28-year-old Colombian once again started on the left wing and scored from a central position to make it 2-0. It was a beauty of a debut goal, which came at the end of some excellent build-up play.

In the second half, Diaz continued to link up well with his teammates, in particular Harry Kane. This time around, Diaz turned provider as he set up Kane’s first two goals. With Diaz and Kane having seemingly struck up such a good understanding after only two competitive games, fans have even more to look forward to when Alphonso Davies resumes duty at left-back.
