Bayern Munich break AC Milan record

The 4-1 victory over Koln marked multiple milestones for the Bavarian giants. With the team from the Cathedral city having scored the first goal of the game, it marked the first time this season that Bayern had trailed in a game.

Ultimately, with the come-from-behind win at Koln, Vincent Kompany’s men set a new record with 14 straight wins to start the season as they surpassed the previous record of 13 wins set by Fabio Capello’s AC Milan at the start of the 1992/93 season.

This victory represents another feather in the caps of the players and the Belgian coach. Records aside, the team didn’t waiver after falling behind on the road in a tournament which hasn’t been kind to them in recent years.
