The great and not so great that is Luis Diaz

Since his move to Germany, Luis Diaz has been a key contributor to the dominance that Bayern Munich has enjoyed thus far. His work rate and pressing alone has resulted in him being a major upgrade at left wing despite his age (28) and hefty €75 million price tag.

However, despite consistently being amongst the goals, the finishing of the 28-year-old winger remains far from ideal.  Any fans who might have been thinking that Diaz had turned the corner regarding that aspect of his game were given a rude awakening in the 54th minute when the Colombian produced one of the worst misses of the season.

With roughly a quarter of the season completed, Diaz has so far proven himself to be a player who relies on volume. The Bavarian faithful can only hope that less would become more for Lucho before entering the business end of the season.
