Kim Min-jae and Serge Gnabry still have a lot to offer

With solid defending, excellent ball distribution and the vital second goal, Kim Min-jae was arguably the man-of-the match against Koln. It may be just one game, but if the South Korean can string together more performances like the one from Wednesday, going forward, fans may well be celebrating his decision of not parting ways with the Bavarian giants during this current transfer window.

Serge Gnabry meanwhile is reportedly willing to take a pay cut to remain with Bayern for at least the next two seasons. The 30-year-old veteran who has become relatively injury-prone in recent years, is clearly no longer in his prime. However, the magical equalizer that he scored on Wednesday shows that, in a reduced role, he can still be a difference maker.
