Tom Bischof continues to impress
After excelling on his first Bundesliga start in a Bayern shirt on matchday five against Werder Bremen, Tom Bischof once again grabbed the headlines against Leverkusen.
Bischof looked the part in the number six position against Werder Bremen. In the clash against Bayer Leverkusen, he arguably produced another man-of-the-match performance, but this time as the left-back.
When one considers the versatility and determination of the 20-year-old who joined Bayern during the summer on a free transfer from Hoffenheim, he clearly was a great signing for both the present and the future. The reported €300k paid to Hoffenheim for his early release to facilitate his participation in last summer’s FIFA Club World Cup in the USA was more than worth it.
