Bayern Munich are looking to wrap up the majority of their summer transfer business in June. They are looking to strengthen the attack by signing a versatile forward. After missing out on Anthony Gordon, Bayern have moved swiftly to seal their alternative target in the attack.
According to Sky Sports in Germany and Fabrizio Romano, Bayern have reached an agreement with PSV Eindhoven to sign Ismael Saibari. The Moroccan forward is set to complete the medical in the USA and complete the move with personal terms re already agreed.
Bayern will pay a fee worth €55 million for Saibari, including add-ons. The 25-year-old will sign a contract until 2031 in the coming days. Reports from the Netherlands have also confirmed the fee, and the player has given the green light to join Bayern.

Kerry Hau of Sky Sports has also reported that the move to sign Saibari was driven by Vincent Kompany. The Belgian coach considers Saibari as the direct replacement of Nicolas Jackson. He can play as a number ten and also deputise for Kane in the striker role.
Saibari was a prolific attacking midfielder for PSV last season, scoring 18 goals across all competitions. The Moroccan also chipped in with eight assists. He can also deputise for Luis Diaz on the left flank, as PSV often deployed him on the left side of the attack.
The 25-year-old forward had an impressive start to the World Cup, delivering a solid performance in a 1-1 draw against Brazil. He opened the scoring for Morocco in the 21st minute with a brilliant finish to beat Alisson. It will be intriguing to see how Bayern and Kompany will deploy Saibari in the already star-studded attack.
Bayern are not expected to sign another forward after Saibari
After clinching the signing of Saibari, Bayern have no plans to sign another forward this summer. They have been linked with various wide players over the last few days, but Saibari’s versatility ensures they don’t need another forward.
Die Roten will now turn their attention to signing Nathaniel Brown from VfB Stuttgart. The 22-year-old full-back enjoyed a great start to the World Cup as he was on the scoresheet in Germany’s 7-1 win against Curacao. The Bavarian club is close to sealing the move for Brown for a fee close to €55 million. Brown and Saibari will be the two primary signings for Die Roten this summer. The rest of the business will depend on departures later in the transfer window.
