Bayern Munich will be back in Champions League action on Tuesday as they look to make it three wins in a row. The Bavarian club needs to win all their group games to book a spot in the top eight of the points table. The next challenge for Bayern will be an away game against Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday.

Die Roten come into the game on the back of a 4-2 win against FC Heidenheim. In terms of Champions League, Bayern have clinched 1-0 wins against Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica. However, both wins came at Allianz Arena. Die Roten are yet to win away from home in the Champions League this season.

The Bavarian club succumbed to 1-0 and 4-1 defeats away at Aston Villa and FC Barcelona, respectively. There has been stark improvement in defense ever since Bayern lost against Barcelona. Bayern’s defensive resolve will be tested when they face Shakhtar Donetsk at Veltins Arena.

Shakhtar Donetsk need a positive result to get in the top 24 of the points table. They are currently languishing in 26th position with four points in five games.
