Midfield

CM, Joshua Kimmich- Courtesy of injuries, there is not much to think about in terms of midfield combinations. Kimmich has passed almost every test this season with flying colours. The Bavarian faithful will hope to see Kimmich in the full flow against their arch-rivals as he is expected to slot in the number eight position.

DM, Leon Goretzka-With three starts in a row, Leon Goretzka is getting back in form. The German international will keep his place in the starting XI since João Palhinha and Aleksandar Pavlović are on the sidelines due to injury. It will be interesting to see what happens next weekend when Pavlović returns from a shoulder injury.

AM, Jamal Musiala- Considering his lofty standards in recent weeks, Jamal Musiala was not on the scoresheet against PSG on Tuesday. The German attacking midfielder found himself in promising positions but couldn’t get the right finish to convert these chances. The Bavarian faithful will hope Musiala will have his shooting boots when he starts in the number ten position against Dortmund.
