RM-Michael Olise

The Frenchman had one of his best performances in a Bayern shirt against Leipzig, and as touched on above, appears to be developing a good partnership with Laimer, in a similar way to the connection he had with Boey. Another player who will have an added creative burden without Musiala.

AM-Thomas Muller

In a world where Bayern had wingers available. there could have been the possibility of Olise moving into the ten role, and one of those two on the right - but that is not the case - so putting Muller in the number ten feels like the inevitable selection here. Has not impressed in some of his cameos of late, and should have scored in the draw at Borussia Dortmund, though that was upfront, so let's see.

LM-Leroy Sane

The winger's improved towards the end of the first half of the season, with a goal against Leipzig to top things off. Particularly without Musiala, his outlet play will be hugely important. We know Kane and Muller can't run in behind, and Olise is definitely more ball to feet. Therefore, Sane's runs in behind will be important here.

ST- Harry Kane

Despite not scoring, his return against Leipzig was probably his best performance of the season so far. His link-up play and passing were at their brilliant best. Had another few weeks to get over that injury, as well as 45 minutes against RB Salzburg to dust off the cobwebs. This fixture last season was one of the few blanks in his debut campaign.
