Strugglers

Manuel Neuer- The skipper had a torrid October. Neuer made several shot-stopping errors, which cost Bayern heavily in games. The performance against FC Barcelona was the lowest point for Neuer in October. There is scrutiny over his decision-making in the goal. Even though he remains excellent on the ball, Neuer needs to improve significantly in shot-stopping to climb up our power ratings.

Mathys Tel- The 18-year-old winger has struggled under Kompany. He is yet to score this season, and his game time plummeted during October. A loan move away from Bayern in January could be on the cards for Tel.

Leon Goretzka- Since Pavlović suffered a collarbone injury, Goretzka is getting opportunities from the bench. The German midfielder has done well in cameos, but it is still not adequate game time for him.

Eric Dier- The English defender continues to struggle for game time as Kompany hardly rotates in central defense. Dier got his first start of the season against Mainz on Wednesday.

Note: Sven Ulreich, Sacha Boey, Josip Stanišić, and Hiroki Ito didn’t feature on the list since they didn’t play in October.
