Kim Min-jae- The former Napoli defender has been better for Bayern this season, but there is still scope for improvement. He is delivering consistent performances for Bayern in the league, but the performance away at Barcelona doesn’t allow him to make the step up in our power ratings.

Dayot Upamecano- The French center-back has also done well in the easier games, but he was exposed in the game against FC Barcelona. There were more good performances than bad in October from Upamecano, but he needs a statement showing against a big team to firmly quieten the critics.

Michael Olise- After a bright September, Olise faded in October. Apart from goals against Eintracht Frankfurt and Bochum, Olise had a quiet month. The French winger helps Bayern to sustain attacks by retaining possession in the final third, though.

Thomas Muller- The veteran forward did a decent job of deputizing Musiala, chipping in with an assist against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Kingsley Coman- The French winger had a quiet start to October, but he steadily improved during the second half of the month. After scoring against Stuttgart and Bochum, Coman has leapfrogged Gnabry in the starting XI.

Serge Gnabry- Gnabry lacked consistency in performance and productivity during October. He continued to work hard out of possession, but Kompany and the Bavarian faithful will hope for improvement in the final third during November.

Aleksandar Pavlović- The German midfielder has been in fine form, but his October was cut short with a collarbone injury against VfB Stuttgart.

João Palhinha- Courtesy of an injury to Pavlović, Palhinha got starts in the midfield during the final two weeks of October. He struggled in Barcelona, but the performances in domestic competitions have been tidy.

Raphaël Guerreiro- The Portuguese left-back has not been extraordinary but continues to do a good job in the right-back position.

Konrad Laimer- As things stand, Laimer has to be content with game time in the right-back position. He has been sharing the duties of the role with Guerreiro since Sacha Boey got injured in September. The Austrian is solid defensively, but there is scope for improvement on the ball.

Leroy Sane- Sane didn’t have the best month for Bayern as he continues to get minutes from the bench. However, he ended October with two good performances against Bochum and Mainz. He was on the scoresheet in both games. The Bavarian faithful will hope Sane builds on these two performances.
