Bayern convincingly beat a toothless Paris Saint Germain side last night in the Allianz Arena. The scoreline of 1–0 didn’t flatter Vincent Kompany's team, as they could have scored more goals, especially when the Parisians were reduced to 10 men for the last half an hour of the game. While the attacking display was underwhelming, Bayern’s midfield and defense put on a splendid performance that ensured another clean sheet — 7th in a row in all competitions, for Die Roten.

Let's take a look at the player's ratings from the winning side.

Goalkeeper

Manuel Neuer  - 8.5/10

Made a great save of Dembele’s powerfully struck low shot in the first half. Not long after he spun the French winger with a cheeky feint. Was exceptional with the ball to his feet and could've easily left the game with one or two assists to his name.

Defense

Konrad Laimer  - 9/10

Defensively active and very tidy with possession. Combined with other players neatly to break PSG’s press and made several threatening runs with the ball in the attacking half.

Dayot Upamecano  - 8/10

Worked hard at the back and aggressively warded off several counterattacking situations from PSG.

Kim Min-jae  - 9/10

A Man of the Match performance from the Korean centre-back. Got the crucial winning goal and was solid as a rock in the defence.

Alphonso Davies  - 7/10

Made a few sloppy passes gifting promising chances for PSG in the first half. Grew into the game and played much more securely in the second half.
