Bayern Munich chiefs have consistently insisted over the last couple of weeks that there will be no further incomings this summer. The Bavarian club completed their business early in the summer by signing Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari from Eintracht Frankfurt and PSV Eindhoven for €110 million, respectively.

Despite Bayern suggesting there will be no further movement, one cannot rule out surprise market opportunities that are too difficult to turn down. The Bundesliga champions will also keep a close eye on the market for potential transfers in the future windows.

In the last few days, Bayern have been linked with one of the top attacking players in the Premier League.

According to The Daily Mail in the UK, Bayern are interested in Nottingham Forest forward Morgan Gibbs-White. The English attacking midfielder was one of the best players in the Premier League last season, finishing the campaign with 18 goals and 7 assists across all competitions.

However, the report from the Daily Mail confirms that Die Roten consider Gibbs-White as a top candidate to replace Michael Olise. The French forward is not expected to leave Munich this summer. Real Madrid had tried to sign Olise, but Bayern were not keen on negotiating an exit.

It does look like Morgan Gibbs-White will be a transfer target for the future from Bayern’s point of view. Considering their success with Premier League signings in the last three summers, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they make a move for Gibbs-White next summer.

Gibbs-White has switched agents amidst speculation around his future

Manchester United and Chelsea have also been credited with interest in the English attacking midfielder. Nottingham Forest are under no pressure to part ways with their talisman. They extended his contract until 2028 after rebuffing bids from Tottenham Hotspur last summer.

Forest will be forced to look for a transfer next summer if he doesn’t sign another contract. The England international recently switched agents. He has signed up with ROOF agency, who have helped Bayern complete several transfers in the recent past.

It will take a significant turn of events for Gibbs-White to get a big move this summer, as several big clubs are well settled in the number ten position. However, the 26-year-old will certainly be one of the players to watch in the market next summer if he decides against signing a new deal. Bayern will certainly be in the mix if he decides to leave Forest next summer.
