Kane expertly deals with physical challenge imposed by Boca Juniors

The rugged Argentine side may have managed to limit Harry Kane to just 38 touches in the game, but still failed to contain him. Despite being closely marked and fouled more often than any player in the match, Kane gave his side an early lead when he was alert to pounce on a tap-back in the box from Kingsley Coman before stroking the ball into the bottom left corner.

Despite Boca's tactic of trying to physically overpower Kane, the English forward had the last laugh when he laid off the ball to Michael Olise to score the late winner. Kane’s resilience and cerebral play were major factors in determining the outcome of the match.
