Bayern Munich have enjoyed an efficient summer when it comes to conducting transfer business. The defending Bundesliga champions are done with signing players for next season after clinching the transfers of Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari. Bayern have also agreed a deal to sign Baro Ndiaye on a permanent deal.
The key focus of the club hierarchy for the rest of the transfer window is finding clubs for players who are not part of Vincent Kompany’s plans for next season.
Bryan Zaragoza is one of the players at Bayern who is expected to leave before the end of the summer. According to Mundo Deportivo (via iMiaSanMia), Zaragoza and his representatives are in no rush to look for a move away from Bayern. He prefers a return to Spain, amidst interest from Alaves and Espanyol, but Die Roten are yet to receive concrete offers.
Zaragoza has no plans to leave Europe, so he has ruled out a move to Saudi Arabia. The Spaniard is currently recovering from knee inflammation at Sabner Strasse. He missed a big chunk of last season due to injuries.
As per Bild (via Bulinews), Zaragoza has been working hard to complete his recovery. The Spaniard has shown renewed energy to fight for game time at Bayern. However, it will take an incredible turn of events for him to stay put in Munich since there is intense competition for game time in the attacking positions at Bayern.
Zaragoza needs to get his move right after multiple setbacks
Bayern decided to send Zaragoza out on loan to Celta Vigo last summer. In the prior season, he excelled at Osasuna, which helped him to earn a call-up for the Spanish national team. However, his move to Celta Vigo didn’t go as planned.
The Spaniard decided to cut his loan at Celta Vigo short earlier this year. He ended up at AS Roma for the second half of the season. The time at Roma was even more difficult for Zaragoza. He got limited game time as he struggled with injuries.
It has not been smooth sailing for Zaragoza since joining Bayern in 2024. He still has time on his side as he turns 25 next month. The former Granada winger needs to choose his next club carefully to ensure he gets his career back on track. It is highly unlikely that he will play in Bayern colours next season.
