Lennart Karl delivered a cross from the right flank, which was headed into Harry Kane’s path by Joshua Kimmich. The English forward emphatically finished to make it 1-0.

Kane looked in the mood to increase his Bundesliga goal tally for the season. The game looked beyond FC Koln in the 13th minute. Kimmich rolled the ball to Kane at the edge of the box from a free kick. The 32-year-old unleashed a powerful shot to beat the goalkeeper.

FC Koln looked shell-shocked as it was a total domination from the home side. The visitors did manage to trouble Die Roten on the counter in the 18th minute as Said El Mala went onto a terrific run from Koln’s half. The German forward managed to beat Die Roten’s defense with his pace and eventually beat Manuel Neuer with a ferocious shot to make it 2-1.

Goals continued to flow in the game as Bayern responded to El Mala’s goal with another beautiful goal. Tom Bischof from the left-back position managed to score his third long-range goal of the season. Konrad Laimer links up well with Lennart Karl on the right flank. The young forward found Bischof at the edge of the box with a pinpoint cut-back. Bischof did the rest to finish the move with a well-placed shot in the bottom corner.

Die Roten had multiple big opportunities in the first half to build on their lead. Karl and Luis Diaz had golden chances to score more goals, while Jamal Musiala hit the woodwork in the added time of the first half. It was one-way traffic as FC Koln were at the end of an attacking onslaught.

Kane scores yet another hat-trick to end the season strongly

Bayern didn’t take the foot off the pedal in the second half. Karl once again came close early in the second half as his effort hit the woodwork in the 52nd minute.

The hosts continued to put pressure on FC Koln during the early exchanges if the second half. However, the visitors looked more resilient and created a couple of half-chances. The home side eventually got the first goal of the second half through another Harry Kane goal in the 71st minute. Goretzka laid off the ball for Kane just outside the box. The English striker took a touch to set himself and unleashed a thunderbolt to complete his hat-trick. It was his 36th Bundesliga goal of the season.

Despite having a healthy lead, Bayern players wanted to score more goals and entertain their fans. Nicolas Jackson came off the bench for his final Bundesliga appearance for Bayern. The Senegalese marked this occasion with a neat finish to make it 5-1 in the 83rd minute. Michael Olise played a beautiful pass in the buildup of this goal.

Bayern players lifted the Bundesliga trophy after the full-time whistle. It has been a historic season for Bayern in the Bundesliga as they lost only one game and scored a mammoth 122 goals, second most for a team in a season across the top five leagues.
