To honor the fans, Bayern and clothing partner Adidas also released a one-of-a-kind 125th-anniversary kit and other lifestyle clothing products. The jersey is colored red, the traditional color of Bayern Munich. The touch of gold in the badge and the logos adds a suave look, which also shows the glorious and decorated history of the club. The club logo is rectangular in shape and is decorated with a laurel wreath, which is a tribute to the original charter.

Bayern Munich men's team will debut this jersey against Bochum on March 8. FC Bayern Women will wear this kit for the first time against Wolfsburg on 14 March.

The jersey and other pieces in the collection can be purchased in FC Bayern Stores and online stores.

The Bavarian faithful will hope that the 125th year can be marked with success on the pitch. Bayern Munich currently have a lead of eight points in the Bundesliga. They are on track to lift the title if Vincent Kompany's team continues to deliver consistent performances over the next two months.

Meanwhile, the current squad also have the opportunity to honour this milestone by winning the Champions League at Allianz Arena. Kompany and his players need to step up and improve several aspects of their game to go deep in the European competition.
