Bayern Munich chiefs have been working on departures in the last couple of weeks. After completing the deal for the departure of Alexander Nubel earlier this month, Bayern have now reached an agreement for the departure of young midfielder Noel Aseko.

According to Sky Sports in Germany, Bayern have agreed a deal with Eintracht Frankfurt for Noel Aseko. Frankfurt will pay a fee worth €12 million for the young German midfielder. It remains to be seen if Bayern have managed to insert a mechanism in the deal that will ensure they have a say when the German midfielder leaves Frankfurt in the future.

The negotiations between Frankfurt and Bayern have been smooth and cordial, as the two clubs had previously worked on the deal to sign Nathaniel Brown. The German defender left Frankfurt earlier this summer to join Bayern for a fee close to €55 million.

The 20-year-old midfielder will sign a contract until 2030 in the coming days. He is expected to join Frankfurt’s pre-season camp to begin preparations for the new season. Noel Aseko impressed for Hannover last season. Hannover exercised the option to buy, but Bayern moved swiftly to activate the buy-back clause to sign him.

Earlier this year, reports in Germany suggested that the young midfielder would have the chance to feature in Bayern's pre-season games, giving Vincent Kompany a chance to assess him. However, there were also reports hinting at a permanent departure as long as an interested club makes an adequate offer for him.

Bayern should look to include a buyback or a right-to-match any potential future offer in the deal for Aseko. He looked impressive in the 2. Bundesliga last season. If he continues to progress well, Aseko can certainly become a very good midfielder.

Bayern have no plans to sign a replacement for Aseko

Bayern are not expected to dip into the transfer market to sign a replacement for Aseko. The Bavarian club is currently not planning to sign a new midfielder, as they are well covered with three core options and a couple of versatile players.

The club hierarchy has done the bulk of their business for this summer by signing Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari for €110 million. They are now focusing on balancing the books. Die Roten will be attentive to the market, but several incomings are unlikely to happen before the end of the summer transfer window.
