Harry Kane
After a quiet first three competitive games of the season, Harry Kane has looked his usual self in the last couple of games. He was on the scoresheet against Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League and scored a decisive goal last weekend in the 2-1 win against Elversberg. The English striker continued his scoring streak on Friday by scoring a brace against Union Berlin.
He expertly converted from the spot in the 39th minute to double Bayern’s lead. The defending champions were awarded the penalty after Michael Olise was brought down in the box by Felix Udoukhai.
The English forward scored his second goal early in the second half. Kane headed the ball past the goalkeeper after a peach of a cross was delivered by Olise from the right flank. The 33-year-old striker had a shot accuracy of 100% against Union Berlin. He also knitted the play well in the final third to make Die Roten more threatening in the final third.
