Midfield

Leon Goretzka - 8/10

Scored two crucial goals and always offered threat going forward. Not his best performance when it comes to midfield duties. Almost gifted Wolfsburg a goal with an underhit pass.

Joshua Kimmich - 8/10

Kimmich did a decent job of conducting Bayern’s midfield although it wasn’t without occasional slip-ups. Created the most chances in the match (5)

Attack

Michael Olise - 8.5/10

Impactful once again for Bayern, this time from the attacking midfield position. Restored Bayern’s lead from a long range effort. Assisted Gotetzka’s second through a sumptuous free kick.

Kingsley Coman - 5.5/10

Was heavily involved in Bayern’s incessant attacking waves in the first half but his final actions were poor. Wasn’t quite on the same page in his combination with Davies down the left hand side.

Harry Kane - 5/10

Looked way off the pace through the game. Squandered several goalscoring opportunities through poor touches or misplaced shots.

Leroy Sané - 8/10

Was unlucky to hit the crossbar in what could’ve been a goal of the season contender. Looked sharp with his passing and dribbling.
