The Lows: Musiala's injury woes

Jamal Musiala has been the glimmer of hope for Bayern in the toughest battle. That link-up with Michael Olise has been a dream to watch. Yet, the German prodigy went down with two horrendous injuries, leading him to miss most of 2025.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder tore his muscle in the Bundesliga game leading up to the Inter Milan clash in the Champions League. His presence was missed dearly as Bayern bowed out of the tournament. And when Musiala's comeback was going well in the FIFA Club World Cup, nightmares struck. A collision with Gianluigi Donnarumma broke his fibula, sidelining the 22-year-old for the rest of the year.

Fortunately, Bayern's new number 10 is on track to return in January stronger than ever.
