Bayern Munich ended the year strongly by clinching a comfortable win away at Heidenheim few days ago. They went into the winter break at the top of the Bundesliga with a lead of nine points. Bayern are still unbeaten in the Bundesliga this season.
It has been a rollercoaster year for Bayern, largely successful on the pitch. However, there were some moments to forget for Germany's most successful club. Let us go through the highs and lows of 2025.
The Highs: Harry Kane's first major trophy
After a disappointing 2023/24 campaign, Bayern Munich were more determined than ever to come back and reclaim the Bundesliga title. Harry Kane was surely the strongest-willed to win his maiden professional trophy.
The Englishman brought home the Torjagerkanone with 26 goals en route to Bayern's dominant domestic season, finishing 13 points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen. Most importantly, Harry Kane finally broke the curse that has been lingering over him since the Tottenham days.
Similar to Kane, his long-time teammate Eric Dier also secured his first major title win during that Bundesliga campaign.
