What is Bayern's performance of the season and Goal of the season?
With 28 wins this year, it is really hard to choose Bayern's most complete performance this season.
By the scoreline, it has to be the 8-1 thrashing of Wolfsburg at home. Emotionally speaking, nothing beats the comebacks against Freiburg and Mainz 05.
However, my personal favourite is the 3-0 victory away at Frankfurt on Matchday 6. It was not the highest-scoring performance, but it was easily Bayern's best defensive game of the year.
Frankfurt was in top form at that moment, but Upamecano, Tah, and Laimer shut down every attack the home side threw against them.
"Goal of the season" is a much harder category, with 122 of them to choose from.
Lennart Karl against Gladbach deserves a shout. Michael Olise's curler against Wolfsburg away and Harry Kane's curler against Wolfsburg at home are some of the most beautiful rainbows we've seen.
But Luis Diaz's impossible-angle goal against Union Berlin takes it for us. The speed, athleticism, mental strength, and savviness to pull out that goal prove how talented that man is.
