The most dominant Bundesliga attack of all time

This is not an exaggeration. Bayern Munich statistically have the best attack, not just in the club's history but also the history of the European top-five leagues.

Bayern Munich ended the season with 122 goals, averaging nearly 3.6 points per game. It was a record-breaking scoring season for Bayern in the Bundesliga. Vincent Kompany's men shattered the previous Bundesliga goal tally (101 goals), set by Bayern themselves in 1971/72.

They also achieve the highest goal difference in league history (+86). Bayern Munich 2025/26 also becomes the second-highest-scoring team of all time in Europe’s top-five leagues, only behind Torino in 1947/48 (125 goals). It is also worth noting that Torino played 40 games that season, while Bayern played only 34.

Bayern players also came close to other Bundesliga statistical records. Michael Olise was two assists away (19) from breaking Thomas Müller's tally (21) in 2019/20.

Harry Kane came within five goals of breaking Robert Lewandowski's Bundesliga scoring record (41) set in the 2020/21 season. The Englishman also became the second player to have multiple 36+ goal campaigns, after Gerd Muller.

They probably won't mind, though, as Olise picks up the Player of the Season award and Kane claims the Torjagerkanone.
