Bayern Munich could see a couple of significant departures in the summer as a few players are reaching the end of their contracts. Leon Goretzka is one of the players who will potentially leave Bayern on a free transfer.
The German midfielder will not be short of options in the summer. AC Milan is the latest club showing interest in the German midfielder. According to Gianluca Di Marzio (via Milan News), AC Milan have identified Goretzka as one of their top targets for the summer transfer window. The Italian club is exploring the opportunity to sign the German midfielder on a free transfer.
Previously, Napoli had also shown interest in Goretzka during the winter transfer window. Fenerbahce have also been linked with a move for the German midfielder, while Goretzka has reportedly touched base with FC Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick for a summer transfer.
Goretzka and Bayern have made it clear that there will be no transfer in the winter transfer window. The German midfielder is focusing on ending the season with Die Roten, while Vincent Kompany also values Goretzka as an important part of his squad.
As things stand, it does look like Bayern have no plans to offer Goretzka a new contract. Even though Goretzka has done well in the last 18 months, Bayern are reportedly looking to sign a young midfielder to replace the German international.
Goretzka’s game time has dropped this season since Aleksandar Pavlovic is ahead of him in the pecking order to partner Joshua Kimmich in the center of the park.
Along with AC Milan, Goretzka will have several options to consider in the summer. As of now, he will look to win his second treble with Die Roten.
Raphael Guerreiro is also expected to leave Bayern on a free transfer
Along with Goretzka, Raphael Guerreiro will also leave Bayern on a free transfer. According to SportBild, Guerreiro will not be offered a new contract by Die Roten.

Guerreiro was linked with a move to Benfica before the winter transfer window. However, the former Borussia Dortmund full-back is not expected to leave Munich before the end of January. His versatility will be a big asset for Vincent Kompany during a busy second half of the season.
The only certain departure in January will be Sacha Boey. Bayern are open to parting ways with the French defender since they are well covered in the full-back positions.
