Harry Kane dominated the headlines over the weekend after his splendid performance against Borussia Dortmund. The English striker scored his third hat-trick of the campaign to help Bayern Munich clinch a convincing 4-0 victory against Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park.

Kane has been in sensational form for Bayern since arriving from Tottenham Hotspur in August. In a matter of three months, the English striker has shown why Die Roten broke their club record to get him from Spurs. Kane has scored 15 goals in ten Bundesliga games this season.

Along with scoring goals, Kane’s linkup play has helped Die Roten to become an even better team in the final third. He has five assists to his name in the Bundesliga. Kane’s qualities on the pitch make Bayern a better team, while his presence in the squad is a great boon for young players in the squad.

Kane has been a world-class striker for several years, but his seamless transition from the Premier League to the Bundesliga has surprised several people. Jamal Musiala is one of those people who are pleasantly surprised by the way Kane has made an impact at Die Roten. While talking to Transfermarkt over the weekend, Musiala admitted that his partnership with Kane will get even better as the season progresses.

"“I expected high things. But probably not this high as he delivered so far. It is even easier than I thought. Firstly, to play with him, and I’m very happy, and hopefully he’s happy too.”“The more games we play, the better it gets. I feel very comfortable with Harry up front. He plays amazing passes; I can just run in behind him, and he will find me. I think the more games we play, the more I will take my chances.”"

Kane and Musiala were playing well in tandem against Dortmund. The English forward had set up a great chance for the young German midfielder at the start of the second half. They also looked brilliant together in the away win at Galatasaray in the Champions League.

Leroy Sane and Kane have struck a great partnership in the attack this season. Eventually, Kane and Musiala will also form a similar partnership. It is a testimony to the quality of both players that they are already causing so many problems for the opposition despite playing together for three months.

Thomas Tuchel has settled down to a fixed attacking quartet in the past few weeks. Kingsley Coman and Sane occupy the flanks, while Musiala plays behind Kane. All four players have complementary qualities that make the team fluid in the final third.

The German coach needs to find a similar balance in the midfield and defense to make sure days like the one at Saarbrucken last Wednesday do not repeat later this season. After the exit from DFB Pokal, Tuchel needs substantial success in the Champions League and Bundesliga. Kane and Musiala will play a crucial role for the German coach to achieve these objectives.
