Bayern Munich: Three memorable goals in Champions League

With the international break coming to an end, the attention will switch to club football from the weekend. The Bundesliga campaign will resume for Bayern Munich on Friday against Bayer Leverkusen. However, the excitement is building up for the start of the Champions League from next week.

Bayern will host Manchester United in an eye-watering first-group game on Wednesday next week. The Bavarian club will be meeting the Red Devils in the Champions League for the first time since the 2013/14 campaign. Along with Manchester United, Die Roten will also face Galatasaray and FC Copenhagen in the group stage.

Ever since winning the title in 2020, Bayern has struggled to go deep in the Champions League. They suffered a humiliating defeat against Manchester City in the quarter-finals last season.
