The Bundesliga campaign is set to kick off this weekend. Bayern Munich will begin their title defense against Werder Bremen on Friday. The Bavarian club has the chance of winning the 12th league title in a row, but it will not be straightforward as Borussia Dortmund came close to breaking their dominance last season.

Bayern dramatically clinched the league title last season in the final few minutes of the season. Dortmund’s failure to win on the final matchday made sure that Die Roten continued their Bundesliga dominance. Thomas Tuchel will hope that margin for the league title is much more comfortable this season.

The Bavarian club has significantly boosted the squad with four summer signings. The defense has been strengthened by the arrival of Raphael Guerreiro and Kim Min-jae, while Konrad Laimer will help in improving the midfield department. The most eye-catching summer signing for Die Roten is Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur. Bayern has managed to fill the void left by Robert Lewandowski by signing one of the best strikers in the world.

The expectation from Bayern will be to win multiple trophies this season. including dominant performances in the Bundesliga. Apart from the obvious things, such as winning titles, here are three things to watch out for Bayern in the 2023/24 campaign.
