Bayern Munich: Summer Transfer Window Round-Up

With almost a full month into the summer transfer window, Bayern Munich has arguably been one of the biggest movers throughout all of Europe. Having completed three new transfers already and leaving the door open to multiple more sales, Die Roten might be on the verge of one of their busiest transfer windows yet.
It is clear Tuchel has a plan for his time at Bayern, but with a rather disappointing finish to last season, he wants to bring in several players that can guarantee success. The club chiefs are also in agreement with the German coach as they believe several areas of the squad need addressing.
Since their biggest needs are a striker and some massive help along the defensive front, Bayern has been looking into some great talent. However, big signings also mean that the reigning Bundesliga champions will be looking to clear out the stock of their current talent.
The Bavarian club cannot compete with Premier League clubs and state-backed clubs in terms of spending. They have to be more shrewd in the market and balance the books with incomings and departures.
