Bayern Munich eager to keep Noussair Mazraoui for next season
Bayern Munich is going to make big changes in defense this summer. Lucas Hernandez is close to completing a move to Paris Saint-Germain. The French international reportedly completed medicals at PSG last week. Bayern is closing on a deal for Napoli’s Kim Min-jae as the replacement for Hernandez.
Die Roten is also looking to add more quality in the right-back position since Benjamin Pavard is also leaving Bavaria this summer. Meanwhile, SportBild (via iMiaSanMia) is reporting that Die Roten has no plans to sell Noussair Mazraoui this summer. The Bavarian club considers Mazraoui as a crucial part of their plans for next season. There is a good chance that the Moroccan defender will be the first-choice right-back for Die Roten next season.
Mazraoui showed his quality offensively and defensively last season in glimpses. He will likely achieve consistency in performances for Die Roten if he gets an extended run in the team. It will take a crazy offer to change Bayern’s mind about Mazraoui this summer.
