The English forward has firmly opened the door to joining Die Roten despite previous reports suggesting that he will stay in the Premier League to become the all-time top scorer of the division.

Bayern has completed the easier part of the deal. The most difficult and crucial aspect of this deal is to convince Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to sell Kane in this window. Despite Kane’s contract situation at Spurs, Levy is reluctant to part ways with the forward. The English media outlets confirmed Levy’s stance on Kane’s transfer on Tuesday after Die Roten made their first bid.
The Bavarian club’s first bid was close to €70 million without add-ons. Die Roten will have to pay over €100 million to turn Levy’s head about selling Kane. If Kane seals a move to Munich, it is likely to be for a record bid at Bayern. It remains to be seen what will be Die Roten’s improved bid for the England international.
Bayern should be wary of the long-drawn saga for Kane. Under Levy’s tenure, Spurs had previously sold Luka Modric and Gareth Bale for significant fees to clubs outside the Premier League.
