"“I think it’s a pity that he’s now being deprived of the chance to win three titles. He remains an outstanding coach. Bayern players in the national team were very surprised, just like I was.”"
Joshua Kimmich also spoke glowingly about Nagelsmann while talking to the media on Friday. The German midfielder insisted that Nagelsmann is one of the top three head coaches in his career. Other Bayern players also paid their gratitude to Nagelsmann on social media.
Despite the way Nagelsmann’s sudden departure from Bayern, he will not be short of offers in the summer. The Times in the UK has already reported that Tottenham Hotspur is weighing up a move for Nagelsmann. The London-based club is expected to part ways with Antonio Conte at the end of the season.
