After the end of World Cup 2022 last weekend, club football is set to resume in some of the leagues in Europe from next week. Bayern Munich will have to wait for the resumption of competitive football since there is a winter break in the Bundesliga. Senior players are currently on a break after their gruesome schedule with the club and national team.

Bayern will resume first-team training on January 3. The first team will travel to Doha for a winter training camp. The record Bundesliga Champions will face Red Bull Salzburg in a friendly game on January 13 before resuming Bundesliga action against RB Leipzig on January 21.

The defending Bundesliga Champions will have a hectic schedule in Ruckrunde since the league was stopped for World Cup after 15 games instead of 17 games. The Bavarian club is also alive in both cup competitions, so there is likely to be a midweek game for most weeks in the second half of the season.

As we enjoy the festive period and wait for Bayern Munich to resume Bundesliga action, it is a good time to list our Christmas wishes for the club. Here are three key wishes for Die Roten for next year as we bid farewell to 2022.
