They will be looking to consolidate their hold at the top of the points table by registering a win against Bremen in the final home game of 2022. Matthijs de Ligt continues to remain on the sidelines after suffering a minor muscle injury against Mainz a week ago. The Dutch defender is expected to be fit for the World Cup. Thomas Muller will also miss the game against Werder Bremen as he recovers from a hip injury.
Alphonso Davies will also miss the game on Tuesday after getting injured against Hertha Berlin. The Canadian full-back is not in danger of missing the World Cup for Canada.
