The mood around Bayern Munich is very negative right now due to the recent poor run of results in the Bundesliga. The defending Bundesliga champions are currently on a winless run of four games in the league. The Bavarian club went into the international break on the back of a 1-0 defeat away at Augsburg last weekend.

Julian Nagelsmann finds himself in a sticky situation for the first time in his year-long tenure at Bayern. The German coach has been publicly backed by the club chiefs in the past few days, but he definitely needs to end this run quickly and build some momentum in terms of results and performances.

Poor results often create doubt amongst players about the methods of the coach. Julian Nagelsmann is also finding himself in the same situation if the recent reports in Germany are to be believed.

According to Bild, the chemistry and atmosphere in the dressing room are completely fine right now. However, the players are critically looking at Nagelsmann for the recent run of results. The German coach needs to get a hold of this situation, or else it will be too late for him to save his job.

Kicker also reported on Wednesday that Bayern players had been bemused by Nagelsmann’s approach in recent games. As per this report, the German coach is preferring senior players over in form younger players when the pressure is on him to get the results.

Julian Nagelsmann is well within his rights to pick the team that he feels is best for results. As long as results are coming, there will be no criticism. However, the recent results and performances have been below par, which has piled pressure on the German coach.

Nagelsmann has the international break to find a solution to the problems. He needs to find a way to get players on his side and go on a good run of results after the international break. The German coach is nowhere near to getting sacked from this position. However, players losing faith in him will have a very damaging impact on his future at the club.
