The last month or so has been serene for the Bavarian faithful when it comes to transfer business. Bayern Munich completed deals for incomings even before the start of the season. They have an interest in Konrad Laimer, but he is set to stay at RB Leipzig. Since Laimer is staying in Leipzig, it is safe to say that there is unlikely to be another arrival in the next ten days.

Die Roten is currently focussing on sorting deals for departures. Fringe players and youngsters are looking to get a move away from Bavaria for regular game time this season. Adrian Fein is the latest Bayern player close to getting a transfer away from the club.

According to Sky Sports in Germany, Fein is set to return to Eredivisie before the end of the window as newly promoted side Excelsior Rotterdam showed concrete interest in him. Bayern is holding talks with the Dutch club. As per ADnl (via Bulinews), Fein has already agreed personal terms with Excelsior.

This is not Fein’s experience in Eredivisie. The German midfielder had spent 2020/21 on loan at PSV Eindhoven. They decided against taking the option of signing Fein permanently since he struggled to impress during his loan spell. The young German midfielder returned to Bayern this summer, but he was not part of the squad that went for the pre-season tour.

Earlier this summer, Fein was heavily linked with a move to LAFC in the MLS. However, the move didn’t materialise, and Fein continued to train at Bayern to maintain his fitness. He currently has no future at Die Roten since he is not part of the senior squad.

Adrian Fein enjoyed a terrific loan spell at Hamburg in 2019/20. Bayern had extended his contract until 2023 due to his impressive performances in Hamburg. He returned to Bavarian the following summer but couldn’t get game time in the senior team during the pre-season. He eventually loaned out to PSV in the final days of the transfer window.

After a poor loan spell at PSV, Adrian Fein faced further disappointment during six-month loan spells at Greuther Fuerth and Dynamo Dresden last season. The German midfielder needs to kick start his career, so a permanent move away from Bavaria will benefit him to get some sort of stability instead of going out on loan this summer.

Meanwhile, Bayern is also looking to arrange a loan move for Gabriel Vidovic out on loan before the end of the transfer window. The youngster came off the bench against Bochum to provide an assist for the seventh goal. A loan move this summer will be good for Vidovic’s development since he needs consistent playing time at the senior level to polish the rough edges of his game.
