The successful start to the season for Bayern Munich continued in the third game week of the Bundesliga. Die Roten delivered yet another clinical and ruthless performance to claim three points away at Bochum. The defending champions managed to slot seven goals past the hosts to make it 15 goals in the first three league games of the season.

Unlike the game against Wolfsburg, Bayern started the game in an electric fashion. They managed to kill the game quickly by scoring three goals in just over 30 minutes. Bochum never had the time to recover and mount a challenge as Rekordmeister showed great ruthlessness in the final third.

Die Roten also made sure that they put in a solid defensive performance to earn a clean sheet for the second consecutive game week. They have conceded only one goal in three league games, making it their best start to the season in the past five seasons. They had enjoyed a similar defensive record after three league games in 2016/17.

It was a flawless performance from Julian Nagelsmann’s men as they continue to entertain fans with goal fests. There are numerous positives from Die Roten’s performance on Sunday, but here are the three biggest ones for us.
