Bayern Munich managed to pull off one of the deals of the summer when they completed the signing of Sadio Mane from Liverpool. Mane is one of the most versatile and complete forwards in football right now. Playing from center forward to running up either wing to playing as a sole striker, Mane will be able to play wherever Nagelsmann wants him to play.

Initially, it seemed as though Mane was brought to Bayern to play in the wide areas where he has been so dangerous for Liverpool throughout the years. With Serge Gnabry signing a new deal and Robert Lewandowski joining Barcelona, it is safe to say that we will see Mane filling in the massive hole that was left by the Polish international.

Sadio Mane raked in 16 goals in the premier league for Liverpool last season, with an additional 5 in the champions league, providing this attack with a much-needed goal threat. However, Mane will offer Bayern a different type of attacking style than years prior.

During his time at Liverpool, it is evident that he uses his pace to chase the ball, whereas Lewandowski would want the ball played to his feet. This can offer a huge advantage in the fact that very few defenders would even be able to keep pace with Mane. With the precision passing of Thomas Muller behind Mane, expect the Senegalese forward to have a tremendous first season in Germany. He has started the season with a bang by scoring goals against RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt. The Senegalese forward should be in the running to win the golden boot in the Bundesliga.
